Big Bang 2026 Cosmos World Tour inspired crochet projects

After watching Big Bang perform again together for their 20th anniversary world tour I was inspired to make some VIP concert freebies. I got so many super cute or super funny or fun concert freebies from other fans. The tour was unbelievable: their performance energy, the nostalgia, the fan interactions! There was so much silly goofing off onstage, so many cute choreography moments, and so much yapping between songs… all in English!

I wish I could join my friend flying out to London to see Big Bang on their next stop, but since I can’t, here are some items for her to gift to other VIPs, or maybe even to G-Dragon, Taeyang, or Daesung themselves

Inspired by VIPS: Crown Headband

First off, I wanted to make some cute crochet crown headbands for other VIPs (Big Bang’s fans are named VIPs, with a crown logo) . Ideally would also embroider Big Bang 2026 World Tour on them (if I fixed my broken sewing machine in time)

Using Big Twist Value Color Varsity Gold and a size 4.50mm hook from my yarn stash I made 2 crowns from https://www.crochet365knittoo.com/crochet-crown-pattern/ I made a mini adult size and an infant size. The adult size in her chart was too large for my head, so I decreased it a few by a multiple of 3. This was a fun and straight forward pattern. The picot in the pattern confused me, until I realized it meant the DC before the 3ch and not the DC in the row below. So to make the crown points it’s skip 2 stitches, then in the next stitch (3 DC, 1DC with a 3 chain picot on top, 3DC) and repeat.

Inspired by Taeyang: Crochet Sun Amigurumi

Next, I made a sun bag charm for my friend to bring and hopefully get a fan interaction with. Taeyang kissed a fan’s sun plushie at both Oakland concerts while walking through the floor.

I used this yellow chenille yarn (https://a.co/d/02j9sniG), a 5.75mm hook, and some of my leftover Big Twist in Crab Bisque for the feet, Loops & Threads Coffee for the mouth, and two 9mm shank eyes. I think the key for making this pattern cute is the eye and mouth placement. I had a little extra time so added some glasses and then some pink hair to the sun plushie.

I think everyone saw the videos from Oakland, because I found so many other videos of sun plushies getting kissed at the London Concert.

Inspired by Daesung: Doraemon hat

Next is a Doraemon Hat for Daesung. I feel like he’s talked about how he likes Doraemon and he is Blue for this tour. His talks were so funny and his enthusiastic dancing and crowd hyping was such a highlight. He killed it on his solo performances.

This character was super popular in asia and we had some Doraemon character items in the household growing up. Here are some Doraemon pics for inspo.

Inspired by G-Dragon: Zoa Cat Beanie

Here’s the project I was most excited to make, but ran out of time for. G-dragon has a collaboration with LINE FRIENDS to create a cat character ZOA that’s based off of his cute Scottish Fold, Zoa.

So for the hat base I had a few ideas.

It would be super cute to crochet an boxy aviator type hat where the folded above eye flap was made with faux fur as zoa’s face. Found a few cute aviator style hats with faux fur inside. Some thing like this + a upside down v mouth and whiskers.
